Aguada Fort is a colonial building, built by the Portuguese who were ruling Goa in the 17th century. The architect behind this masterpiece was named Julião Simã, it is a stunning Italian design which main purpose was to keep the Portuguese safe from other intruders. You can reach Aguada Beach in two ways, first one is you can go from Panji by using buses and taxis, which will take you to the place in under 40 minutes as it is located only 15 km away. The second way is from Goa International Airport (40 km away) which will take you above one hour by hiring a taxi, using a bike, or getting on a bus.
